Asset integration and validation

- from 3D creation tools to Unity

We are a team that is currently working on improving asset integration pipelines from DCC into Unity Editor.

We would like to conduct a series of one hour interviews with studios to explore which issues you are encountering in your pipeline today, in order to make sure we’re building the right things to solve the right problems.

The topic of the interview is: Asset integration and validation - from 3D creation tools to Unity

  • We would like to interview studios that have dedicated 3D artists primarily working in content creation tools like Maya, 3DS Max, Blender or similar.
  • You can be a mobile studio, outsourcing studio, Asset Store publisher, big or small, as long as you have dedicated 3D artists who primarily work in other content creation tools, but are building their content for Unity Editor, especially in the gaming space. We’re interested in speaking to 3D artists, technical artists or art directors who work with 3D artists and can also dive into the problem area with us.

First, we’d like to do a problem area exploration around your workflows today, for example how you work with 3D assets, and where you spend the most of your time. Afterwards, we’d like to share the workflow we have been working on to see if you believe this would improve your workflows and save you time, or if there are other areas that are more important to you.
